Loving the Landmarks

After learning how to navigate the streets of Paris, we were off to see what the city has to offer!
Not only the Eiffel Tower but also the Arc de Triomphe, the river front and the Louvre were within walking distance of our quaint hotel. This gave us the opportunity to take advantage of every second we had in Paris!
One afternoon we walked to the Arc, and another day we took in the dazzling storefronts of the Champs-Élysées.

It was amazing to have a knowledgeable guide to narrate everything so we could take our noses out of the guidebooks and experience everything we saw, smelled, and heard!
I learned so much of the history behind the iconic landmarks and the city itself. Paris is comprised of so many layers of history, but through the fascinating stories and hands-on exploration our guide offered, I was soon piecing them all together into one incredible narrative.
Who knew so many iconic landmarks would be so close?

You can look at postcards and other people's photos all day, but there is no substitute for the feeling of being present, mind and body, in Paris. Everything we did with the Best of Paris in 7 Days immersed us the in feeling of the city and taught us to appreciate and experience Paris is all its splendor.
