How do you say good bye to Paris?
Rick Steve's Tour knew just the right to way end such a marvelous trip: an evening cruise on the Seine. We got to watch sunset wash Paris in golden light until it faded into shadow and the City of Lights lived up to its name.
On the boat, our fantastic guide surprised us all with a champagne toast and taught us to cheer every time we passed under a bridge.
As the sun went down the Parisians came down to the riverside. They danced, picnicked, and strolled along the banks of the river, waving to us as we waved goodbye to Paris.

The sparkling lights on the river and the monuments glowing in the night, Paris at night is a must-see and the perfect way to end an unforgettable week.
As the Eiffel Tower sparkled behind us, we said our goodbyes and headed back to our hotel. This is a trip we will never forget!
